Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team at MacLeod House Baddeck. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a nursing home setting, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of Nova Scotia
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Vulnerable sector check
