Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Mecando Cleaning Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture and fixtures
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closets
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Clean and disinfect elevators
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
Requirements:
  • Housekeeping room attendant certification
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driving record check (abstract)
