The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional legal services to individuals and businesses across various sectors. As a senior litigation attorney, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients in civil litigation, personal injury, family law, real estate transactions, immigration, corporate law, and estate planning.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents, contracts, agreements, pleadings, and other legal correspondence.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues pertaining to Alberta laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, records, and documentation.
  • Stay informed about changes in legislation, legal trends, and precedents relevant to Alberta jurisdiction.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing personalized attention and exceptional service.

Requirements:

  • A degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Law Society of Alberta as a practicing lawyer in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably with a focus on areas relevant to our firm's practice areas.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta laws, regulations, and court procedures.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
