About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at BJ PACKERS. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and processing meat for further cutting, processing, or packaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
  • Cut beef, lamb, pork, or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing, or packaging
  • Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or other wholesale use
  • Remove bones from meat
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Permanent work term
  • English language required
  • 15 to 40 hours per week
