Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at DRAPER INDUSTRIAL CONTRACTING LIMITED. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and reading and interpreting welding blueprints and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including flame-cutting equipment, to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Work Environment

As a Welder at DRAPER INDUSTRIAL CONTRACTING LIMITED, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and a focus on attention to detail. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, and in dusty, hot, and noisy conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a high level of flexibility, organization, and punctuality.
  • Ability to travel regularly and work in various locations, including remote locations.
