We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Retail Operations Manager - Meat Department at Real Canadian Superstore.

About the Role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the meat department, ensuring seamless execution of sales and profitability goals.
  • Train and develop associates in customer service, product knowledge, and merchandising practices.
  • Maintain high standards of merchandise display, stock levels, and pricing.
  • Coordinate inventory replenishment with other departments to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for customers and employees.
  • Manage departmental expenses and assist in budget preparation.
  • Foster effective communication with store management and department managers to align with store-wide objectives.
  • Identify and attract top talent to enhance team diversity and inclusivity.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate colleagues to improve productivity, engagement, and retention.
  • Promote and maintain operational and merchandising standards.
  • Build and lead diverse teams that foster an inclusive workplace culture.

About You:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred.
  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in a departmental or specialty store setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and develop associates.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Compensation Package:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000, reflecting the size of the department and store. This reflects higher earnings potential compared to the standard hiring range listed below.
