Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Silver Creek Lodge. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas of the lodge are clean and well-maintained, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement effective housekeeping procedures and protocols
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies necessary for housekeeping operations
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service
  • Coordinate contract services as needed, including laundry and dry cleaning
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with local health and sanitation regulations
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals of housekeeping staff
  • Maintain accurate records of housekeeping supplies and equipment
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve housekeeping efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in housekeeping management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
