The role of the Leasing Representative at Pure Industrial involves overseeing leasing-related activities within a specified portfolio. This includes developing and implementing impactful initiatives to meet strategic goals and growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the commercial leasing process and lease deal negotiation aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct showings of vacant and expiring units, prepare proposals for lease, offers to Lease/Letters of Intent, and negotiate terms of offers and leases.
  • Generate leasing assumptions for annual property budgets within the assigned portfolio.
  • Communicate with Asset Management to gain an understanding of individual asset plans and budgeted goals and timelines.
  • Assist in the oversight and management of external listing brokers and marketing initiatives within the assigned portfolio.
  • Act as liaison between stakeholders, in-house personnel, customers, outside counsel, architects, designers, consultants, brokers, and municipalities to negotiate, organize, track, and support our leasing processes.
  • Assist and maintain a central source of market information and knowledge.
  • Establish and execute a leasing strategy for buildings within the portfolio for new leases and renewals.
  • Timely completion of reports to Asset Management on portfolio lease performance and other reports as required for the role.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a combination of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar capacity or commercial real estate industry, exposure to industrial leasing and assets.
  • Knowledge of the commercial leasing process and lease deal negotiation aspects.
  • Proficiency in the Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service and a tenacious and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Problem-solving skills, the candidate must be a self-starter who takes initiative.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for frequent travel.
