Job Summary

TECH FUSION CONSULTANTS is seeking a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Hardware and Software Evaluation: Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, and operating system software to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • User Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to perform their jobs efficiently.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine network start-up and close-down procedures, maintain control records, and ensure data backups and disaster recovery operations are in place.
  • Network Optimization: Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet, implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Web Development: Research and apply meta-data to Websites and register Websites with search engines to improve online visibility.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in network administration and IT support.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
