Marina Server

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused server to join our team at Port 701 Marina Side Dining and Lounge. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the overall success of our dining experience.

• Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are accurate and meet our high standards.
• Customer Interaction: Greet patrons warmly, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
• Order Management: Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled promptly and accurately.
• Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware, as well as perform sensory evaluation of wines.
• Team Support: Supervise other servers and bussing staff, assist with scheduling, and provide training to new team members.
• Additional Responsibilities: Balance cash, record sales, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and describe menu items and daily specials to guests.

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training will be provided.
• Experience: Will train on the job.
• Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliable, and teamwork abilities are essential for this role.

• Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week, seasonal schedule.

• Salary: Estimated $25,000 - $35,000 per year, based on location and experience.
