Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Alberta LTD. O/A KIDS 'R' US DAYCARE#1 is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to work with our team of professionals in providing high-quality care and education to children. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess children's development and create individualized learning plans to meet their needs.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support children's growth and development.
  • Lead activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom.
  • Monitor children's progress and report to parents, guardians, or supervisors as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support to children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in early childhood education or related field.
  • Child Development Supervisor (ECE Level 3) or Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community service providers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
