We are seeking an experienced Design Release Engineer to join our team at MEDA Engineering and Technical Services, LLC. This individual will be responsible for the design, development, and release of Advanced Driver Assist (ADAS) components.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in the automotive industry. They will be skilled in program and supplier management, open issue tracking, and delivery to vehicle program milestones. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and organizational skills.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute and validate complex ADAS systems. You will be responsible for generating program development timelines, leading component packaging, and developing ECU diagnostics. Additionally, you will conduct HW/SW design reviews, author/review/approve FMEAs & DVPRs, and identify quality improvements.
The required skills and qualifications for this position include a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Automotive Engineering from an accredited university. A minimum of 1 year design and release experience with automotive ECUs is also required. Experience with DFMEA, PFMEA, DVPR, DV, PV, validation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Docs are highly desirable.
