Job Summary

Humble Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Telecommunications Line Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation and maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining aerial and underground telephone equipment, testing equipment to locate transmission faults, and completing and maintaining test and service reports.

Work Environment

You will work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and underground. You will be required to climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to distinguish between colours
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability
Work Conditions

You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You must be able to handle the physical demands of the job and work in a variety of weather conditions.
