Director of Employee Engagement and Retention

We are looking for a Director of Employee Engagement and Retention who has a minimum of 15 years of HR and/or Labour Relations experience, with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience. Proven subject matter expertise in labour and employment relations, preferably in multiple provinces, is required.
Prior advocacy experience such as leading collective bargaining, arbitration hearings, mediations, and other labour and employment related proceedings is essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with negotiating matters to resolution, preferably in a labour and employment context.
Able to travel within NS, NB, and Ontario as required, the successful candidate will possess a passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.
