Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Renfrew Victoria Hospital. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and maintaining accurate records
  • Operate pharmacy automation software, including EPIC hospital information system
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills to patients and healthcare staff
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
  • Meet the physical demands of the work area and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

  • Completion of a recognized Pharmacy Technician Program or equivalent
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Experience working in a hospital environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications
