We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Qualicum Quality Care Services Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a nursing home setting, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary health team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and provide education to patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and operate medical equipment as needed.
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
- CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
- Immunization records and tuberculosis test.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
