Job Summary

Emterra Group is seeking a skilled Manual Side Load Driver to join our team. As a Manual Side Load Driver, you will be responsible for operating waste collection/recycling vehicles, loading curbside materials, and ensuring safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Load curbside materials into the truck, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, completing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner, meeting company standards.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR.
  • Minimum one-year experience driving with a DZ license or an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, with a strong emphasis on physical stamina and endurance.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
