Job Description

As a Senior WAN LAN Engineer, you will play a critical role in leading the development and maintenance of our WAN/LAN infrastructure.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our SD-WAN networks, ensuring high-performance and reliability.

Your expertise will also be sought after in troubleshooting complex network issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Network operations, providing technical leadership during major network transformations and incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement SD-WAN networks, ensuring high-performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand network requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Network operations, providing technical leadership during major network transformations and incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in SD-WAN, ensuring our network remains competitive and secure.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP (Enterprise), CCIE, SD-WAN Specialist, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong experience in enterprise network architecture, implementation, and operations. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies.
  • Deep understanding of SD-WAN architecture, protocols, and technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, IPsec, QoS).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., MIST, ThousandEyes, Splunk) and performance optimization.
  • An open mindset to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with Operational issues with a "Go get" Attitude.
