Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Waste Management Driver to join our team at Emterra Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating waste collection/recycling vehicles, loading curbside materials, and ensuring assigned routes are completed in a timely and safe manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Load curbside materials into the truck, adhering to company guidelines and regulations
- Conduct pre and post-trip inspections, completing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports as required
- Provide excellent customer service, interacting with residents and businesses in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driving record and CVOR
- Minimum one year experience driving with a DZ license or an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, reliable, and a team player with a strong commitment to safety
