About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Woodcraft Specialist to join our team at BalPro Construction. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for bringing building plans to life by crafting and installing wooden structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Implementation: Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
  • Carpentry Tasks: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Installation and Finishing: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure seamless integration with existing structures.
  • Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, instruct apprentices, and supervise other workers to guarantee efficient project completion.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and more.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reading blueprints, operating power tools, and working with different materials.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is $55,000-$65,000, depending on location and experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
