Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handling Specialist to join our team at Sunridge Bottle Depot. This is a permanent, full-time position with 30 hours of work per week.

As a Material Handling Specialist, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment. You will also operate various equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading products from vehicles and stock
  • Moving products and materials within the warehouse using manual dexterity and heavy lifting
  • Operating various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
  • Picking orders and stocking shelves in a fast-paced environment
  • Weighing materials and goods to ensure accuracy
  • Packing and unpacking goods for shipping and receiving
  • Sending sorted, crated, and stacked goods to their designated areas
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods throughout the facility
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure accurate tracking
  • Handling hazardous products and storing them safely
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job for material handling equipment and procedures
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding role requiring manual dexterity and heavy lifting
