**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team as a District Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives, developing and executing sales plans, and driving business growth in assigned markets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling sales and financial plans to deliver on targets as measured by profit, volume, distribution, and call coverage.
- Providing consistent coaching to field teams on a weekly basis to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Managing relationships with key customers to ensure delivery of sales plans and targets.
- Developing and tracking sales targets for the relevant period of time as per company standards.
- Promoting competition across the team to drive results by tracking performance, recognizing wins, and taking immediate action when gaps or new opportunities are identified.
Requirements:
- A post-secondary degree with a preference for marketing or business-related degrees.
- At least 5 years of progressive sales experience in the Molson organization and/or other consumer packaged goods, including retail experience.
- Cross-functional experience in marketing is an asset.
- Industry/Molson knowledge, as well as brewery/product knowledge.
- The ability to lead a professional sales team and demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
- Negotiation, professional selling, time management, and budget management skills.
