With over a hundred buildings, facilities, and properties to manage, the City of Kelowna is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our Building Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will be essential in supporting the implementation of a preventative maintenance program and contributing to ongoing facility conditions assessments. Depending on your experience, you may also have opportunities to support the delivery of capital renewal projects.

Key Qualifications
  • Refrigeration Mechanic TQ
  • Gasfitter (Class B) TQ
  • Experience in HVAC systems
  • Candidates with an Electrical TQ and DDC experience are considered beneficial
  • Ability to obtain enhanced security clearance is required for this position
