Clinical Psychiatric Nurse

As a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse with Interior Health Authority, you will be an integral member of the Hospitals & Communities Integrated Services (HCIS) or Tertiary Mental Health Services multi-disciplinary care team. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely, responsive, evidence-based treatment and clinical supports for individuals with serious, severe, and persistent mental health problems, and/or problematic substance use, and/or developmental disability issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment, treatment, case management, community support, and urgent response to clients with complex needs.
• Function as a primary clinician utilizing specialized treatment modalities/therapies for individuals, groups, and families.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
About this Opportunity:
This is a relief full-time opportunity until January 2025, or the return of the incumbent. Shifts of work are rotating days and nights, 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00. The hourly wage for this position will be $41.42 to $55.91, effective April 1, 2024.

The focus is on rehabilitation and recovery to restore or develop each person's ability to live a meaningful life.
