Job Opportunity:

As a Financial Planning Specialist at RBC Dominion Securities Inc., you will play a key role in delivering customized financial plans to High Net Worth clients. Your expertise will help advisors provide expert knowledge on complex financial strategies, including tax planning, investment management, and estate planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial plans that meet client needs in financial, investment, retirement, tax, risk management, and estate planning.
  • Personalize each financial plan to address client-specific issues, such as holding companies, employee stock options, and individual pension plans.
  • Simplify complex strategies to assist advisors.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning Analyst team in preparing financial plans.
  • Promote a work environment that inspires innovation, creativity, collaboration, and diversity.
  • Develop strong internal and external networks and referral sources.

Requirements:

  • Five years of experience in tax planning for high net worth clients.
  • Five years of relevant experience in all aspects of financial planning.
  • One or more professional designations in Accounting, such as CA, CMA, CGA, or CPA.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills.
  • Microsoft Office and financial planning software, such as Conquest or Naviplan.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
