HVAC Technician

MeadowBrook is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning refrigeration and air conditioning systems in industrial, commercial, and institutional settings.
About the Role:- We are looking for a skilled professional with 3-5 years of experience in HVAC system installation and maintenance.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawings, as well as proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
- A valid Trade Certificate (WHMIS, WAH, Life License) is required, along with a clean abstract and a valid Ontario driver's license.
- Plan, lay out, install, test, and commission refrigeration and air conditioning systems, electronic components, and their accessories.
- Install and connect piping for conveying all types of refrigerants used for primary and secondary heating and cooling.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, and connect pipe to functional components and utilities, and test, adjust, commission, and decommission the system.
- Fabricate sheet metal products using riveting, welding, bolting, and similar equipment, including ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, general ductwork, and fire penetrations.
- Read engineering and architectural drawings, sketches, and work specifications to perform tasks and lay out, measure, and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates.
- Work safely and efficiently, ensuring that all activities meet safety standards and regulations.
