We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Levelwear Inc. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and resolving billing issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts, including setting up profiles, processing invoices, and following up on past-due payments.
  • Process credit memos and respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues.
  • Conduct credit checks and review credit history to determine credit availability for each order.
  • Block and release orders as needed if customers neglect payments.
  • Receive and process incoming payments, recording them accurately into the system.
  • Close sales ledgers and review accuracy and completeness of sales.
  • Compile and file necessary documents, including HST filing and EDC AR insurance.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • C coordinate with Sales Representatives on past-due invoices, if required.
  • Support month and year-end processes, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • College or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • 1+ years' experience in bookkeeping, preferably in an accounting software environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
