Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director/Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading the sales team, and providing accurate estimates for roofing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to drive performance and exceed sales goals.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of roofing projects to determine material requirements, labor costs, and project timelines.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates using industry-standard software and pricing guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's client base and market presence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on roofing solutions tailored to their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to support sales initiatives and achieve business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and installation teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership and estimation within the roofing industry or any related field.
- Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, installation techniques, and industry regulations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with a focus on driving results and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in estimation software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
