Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at CB Canada in a Hybrid Environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related schedules, in compliance with SOX, GAAP, and corporate policies.
• Participate in full-cycle month-end activities, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare various financial reports and analytical work, including intercompany balance reconciliation, monthly accruals, journal entry logs, and spreadsheet SOX control log.
• Ensure accurate and timely Balances Sheet reconciliation and Hard Close Binder preparation.
• Prepare financial statements and analysis, including Management Estimates, EBITDA Bridge, and ART.
• Develop and maintain proper documentation of local procedures and internal controls for the monthly close process.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, sharing best practices with team members and striving for process optimization.
• Prepare and submit monthly STAT's Canada reports and manufacturing surveys.
• Perform additional ad-hoc analysis and reporting, as required.

Requirements:

• A formal Accounting designation (CPA).
• Significant experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in financial analysis and key trends analysis.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented, with a positive attitude and ability to work in an open group environment.
• Experienced with ERP systems and able to handle multiple concurrent assignments.
• Sound planning and organizational skills, with the ability to deal with cross-functional management teams.
