Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team at HML Contracting Ltd. As a key member of our landscaping team, you will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, surveying and assessing designated sites, and ensuring the health and well-being of lawns and gardens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage landscaping projects from start to finish
  • Survey and assess designated sites to determine the best course of action
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal health
  • Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas
  • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems with trees and shrubs
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
  • Plant and move trees
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in landscaping
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
