Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repair Technician to join our team at SKYDOME AUTO AND TRUCK CENTRE. As a key member of our body shop, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs, inspecting repaired vehicles, and planning repair work to be performed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Plan repair work to be performed, including replacing front end components, body components, and underbody components
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive body repair industry

Work Environment: Our body shop is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential. You will work closely with our team to ensure that every vehicle that leaves our shop is safe and meets our high standards.
