We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef and Culinary Director to join our team at Saskatchewan Ltd.
Job Description:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing kitchen operations, menu planning, and culinary direction. They will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage kitchen staff, including sous-chefs, specialist chefs, and cooks
- Develop and implement new menu concepts, ensuring seasonal ingredients and quality standards
- Conduct food cost analysis and inventory management to optimize profitability
- Schedule staff, manage labor costs, and maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Maintain accurate records of food safety, health, and environmental practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience as an executive chef or similar role
- Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, kitchen management, and culinary direction
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
