Senior Data Analyst, Business Intelligence

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence to join our team at Grant Thornton. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Power BI development, data validation, and stakeholder collaboration. You will play a pivotal role in creating impactful reports, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our BI processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build impactful reports using Power BI, adapting to evolving requirements
- Thoroughly validate data and ensure accuracy
- Work effectively with teams to ensure report completeness and address challenges; communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Proactively identify and implement enhancements to BI processes and report development
- Manage and resolve Service Now tickets related to BI reports and dashboards

Requirements:

- 3-5 years of experience in a BI analyst or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality reports and dashboards
- Strong understanding of data structures and quality principles
- Advanced Power BI skills, including data modelling, DAX, report creation, and Power Query (M) for data transformation
- Proficiency in Excel (data manipulation and analysis)
- Strong data visualization skills
- Working knowledge of SQL for data querying and extraction
- Familiarity with Share Point for data access and collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
