Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet intended specifications and requirements, working closely with the quality control team to maintain accuracy and consistency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Verifying that all parts meet quality standards through dimensional and visual inspections
  • Aligning drawings and specifications with inspection checks to guarantee accuracy
  • Aiding in the manufacturing internal quality audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Supporting tool calibration and maintenance to optimize production efficiency
  • Attending Quality Meetings with the Quality Manager to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives
Requirements

To be successful as a Quality Control Technician at Fidelity Manufacturing Group, you will need:

  • A minimum High School education or equivalent, with certification in manufacturing or quality control considered an asset
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in quality control, with experience reading engineering and manufacturing drawings required
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles and concepts, with experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc., highly valued
