Sienna Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Ensure timely and accessible admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage medications, narcotics, and protocols on assigned shifts.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
- Respond to emergencies, act as emergency manager, and collaborate with interprofessional teams.
- Participate in in-services, education, and role-modeling for nursing team members.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Current registration with the BC College of Nursing Professionals.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Minimum two years related clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
- Sound knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing, including activation, activity programs, and nursing administration.
- Minimum two years related clinical experience.
- Certificate in gerontological nursing.

Wage Leveling rate of pay $55.91 per hour until wage leveling ends, then pay rates reflect the collective agreement. Job Types: Permanent, Casual. Pay: $41.42-$55.91 per hour. Schedule: Night shift. Licence/Certification: Registered Nurse (required). Work Location: In person.
