About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at our family-oriented dental clinic in Kenora. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in enhancing oral health and preventing dental issues through essential care and patient education.

Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain patients' oral health
  • Examine patients' oral health and take X-rays to identify any potential issues
  • Screen for oral diseases and provide fluoride treatments to prevent decay
  • Educate patients on proper hygiene techniques and assist with treatment plans to ensure optimal oral health
  • Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care
  • Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program
  • Registration as a Dental Hygienist and good standing with provincial licensing requirements
  • Strong clinical and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
  • Proficiency in dental software, including Dentrix
  • Compassionate and detail-oriented approach to patient care, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development
  • Possession of a valid CPR certification
