Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating air import and export shipments, including documentation, logistics coordination, cargo tracking, shipment monitoring, and quotations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare import/export shipment documentation, including air waybills, and ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery orders with trucking companies, airlines, and/or bonded facilities.
- Advise clients on transportation and payment methods, including the issuance of freight bills and invoices.
- Prepare quotations by negotiating rates and ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers.
- Adhere to various air cargo security provisions, including the Air Cargo Security Program and the Partners in Protection program.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-5 years' freight forwarding experience or in a similar role.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international commerce, including shipping and payment terms, customs regulations, and GDP regulations.
- Ability to learn, use, and convey required information to clients and related parties.
