Nursing Practice Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Practice Educator to join our team at The University of British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the clinical component of undergraduate nursing courses.
Key Responsibilities- Actively participate in the teaching of nursing competencies in the clinical practice skills labs.
- Provide clinical supervision of a group of students in a hospital or community health setting, including assigning students to provide direct care to patients, assessing student skill levels, and monitoring and evaluating student performance.
- Assist course leaders with the theoretical component of clinical coursework, such as grading papers and delivering lectures.
- Participate in team activities relative to planning, implementing, and evaluating the clinical component of the undergraduate program.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Undergraduate degree in Nursing and Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
- Nursing Licensure in British Columbia.
- Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least two years of experience in a clinical position.
- Strong clinical background in Adult Acute/Critical Care, Maternal/Child, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Gerontology, or Community/Population Health.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Teaching experience and/or a keen interest in teaching.
The University of British Columbia offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $6,551.00 - $9,418.83 CAD Monthly, and a comprehensive benefits package.
