Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Materials Required

You will be responsible for determining the materials needed for each project, ensuring that the correct materials are ordered and delivered to the worksite.

Lay Out Reference Points and Patterns

You will be responsible for laying out reference points and patterns on the metal to ensure accurate cutting and assembly.

Assemble and Fit Plates and Sections

You will be responsible for assembling and fitting plates and sections to form structures, ensuring that they are properly aligned and secured.

Set Up and Operate Heavy-Duty Metal-Working Machines

You will be responsible for setting up and operating heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as saws and drills, to cut and shape metal.

Construct Patterns and Templates

You will be responsible for constructing patterns and templates to ensure accurate cutting and assembly.

Install Fabricated Components

You will be responsible for installing fabricated components in the final product, ensuring that they are properly secured and aligned.

Rig, Hoist, and Move Materials

You will be responsible for rigging, hoisting, and moving materials to storage areas or within the worksite.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

30 to 35 hours per week
