Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Operator to join our team at Brightview Landscapes Ltd.
Job SummaryThe Heavy Duty Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as cranes, pile driving machines, and drilling machines to perform various tasks related to construction and landscaping.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials and products.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers.
- Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
- Operate cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas.
- Drive and operate air-track or other drilling machines to bore large blast holes to specified depths at staked positions in open-pit mine or quarry.
- Operate drilling machines to drill blast holes in rock at road or other construction sites.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in operating heavy equipment.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work 32 hours per week.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Manual dexterity required.
