About the Role

BrainStation, a global leader in digital skills training and workforce transformation, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Educator to join our team. As a Cybersecurity Educator, you will play a critical role in teaching our 12-week Cybersecurity bootcamp program, delivering lectures, and providing expert technical guidance to students.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for students
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date course materials, including lectures, labs, and assessments
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with other educators and subject matter experts to develop and implement curriculum
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments in cybersecurity to ensure our program remains relevant and effective
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong background in information security systems and best practices
  • Proven experience in teaching and mentoring students, with a strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity operations, governance, assurance, and compliance
  • Experience with risk and incident management, security vulnerabilities, and countermeasures
  • Strong command of Network and Systems Security, Cryptography, and Security Infrastructure
