At Dollarama L.P., we are seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our retail store operations. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $22.20 per hour, which translates to approximately $45,534.40 per year, based on 40-50 hours of work per week. The actual salary may vary depending on experience and location.

Job Description

As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily retail store operation, including day-to-day activities, merchandising, recruitment and training of new employees, scheduling and inventory management. You will also ensure that the store meets company standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise store staff, assign duties, and provide feedback.
  • Operate a cash register, handle cashier duties, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Participate in merchandising activities, manage inventory, and maintain store appearance.
  • Train new and current employees on key store processes and provide quality customer service.
  • Address staffing requirements, recruit new employees, and ensure workplace safety.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as employee paperwork, sending documents to head office, and participating in performance management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum two years' experience in the retail industry.
  • One year of experience in a team management position.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
