At Capital One, we're seeking a seasoned Information Security Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Information Security and Risk Management group, you'll play a critical role in helping our business units raise their game in Information Security and Risk Management.

You'll be responsible for providing expert guidance on Information Security capabilities, solutions, policies, procedures, and standards. Your expertise will help influence customers to leverage security capabilities and solutions to shift and integrate security to the left in the development processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and executing proactive Information Security consulting to business and technology teams
  • Acting as a central point of contact for your line of business to the rest of Capital One's Information Security and Risk Management
  • Providing regular updates to executive leadership on the overall Information Security health and risk environment

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
  • At least 7 years of experience performing security risk assessments and security architecture reviews
  • Proven experience managing industry standard security audit and certifications
  • Experience building software utilizing public cloud and Agile methodologies
  • Professional certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Lead Security Auditor Certification
