Job Title: Service Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Service Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Windsor Brandt Peterbilt location, working an afternoon shift. This role is responsible for supporting the service manager in maintaining accurate and timely reports and records related to the Service Department's operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for fielding internal and external customer inquiries regarding the Service Department.
  • They will open work orders as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman and maintain control until they are closed and invoiced.
  • This individual will maintain the service library with current information, including files, bulletins, manuals, and multimedia materials, under the direct supervision of the Service Manager.
  • They will also maintain Service Department filing and records.
  • The Service Operations Coordinator will update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from customer work orders.
  • They will maintain accessories and supplies, preparing replacement orders as needed.
  • This role may also involve preparing Service Technician efficiency reports.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate may process warranty and/or product improvement claims, including computation of charges, submission, and follow-up.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with office procedures is essential.
  • A general understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred.
  • BASIC knowledge of accounting practices is required.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
