Job Title: Silviculture Specialist

This is a permanent position with Groupement forestier Métis-Neigette Inc, working 45 hours per week. We are seeking an experienced Silviculture Specialist to join our team in forestry operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in grafting trees, planting seedlings, and cutting weeds and undergrowth. Knowledge of forestry practices and principles is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Grafting trees to enhance forest productivity
  • Planting seedlings in designated areas
  • Cutting weeds and undergrowth to promote healthy tree growth

Requirements:
  • Degree or certificate in Forestry or related field
  • Experience in silviculture and forest management
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
