We are looking for a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of the Ordering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable solutions to support the retail ordering workflow.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in design patterns, reliability, and scaling of new and existing systems. You will be working on complex challenges in large-scale computing, utilizing your skills in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
This is a unique opportunity to work on real-world problems on a global scale, owning your systems end-to-end and influencing the direction of our technology that impacts hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience in programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $114,800-$191,800 per year, based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, you may also be eligible for equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
