**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Financial Markets Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring clients' fully paid securities are segregated from other securities, analyzing segregation deficiencies, and managing buy-ins for Canadian and U.S. brokers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Segregate clients' fully paid securities from other securities to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Analyze daily segregation deficiencies and remedy them within prescribed time frames.
- Manage all buy-ins for Canadian and U.S. brokers, including applying rule 204 of Regulation SHO.
- Issue notices of redemption in a timely manner and complete redemptions within prescribed time frames.
- Work closely with key partners to ensure operational and regulatory standards are met.
**Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A three-year college diploma or academic equivalent and four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A strong interest in regulation, securities, and capital markets.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, an asset.
- Proficiency with ISM tools (OSS), MAX/Arrow, AS400, CDS, and DTC, an asset.
- A self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to summarize information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
