Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team in Cranbrook, BC. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment on public roadways, maintaining proper awareness of your surroundings, and performing daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate, and refill as necessary
  • Maneuver heavy equipment into loading and unloading positions
  • Travel and work out of town occasionally when required or necessary
Requirements
  • Class 5 Driver License
  • Pass a Drug Test
  • Experience operating equipment in construction areas is preferred
  • Ability to perform manual labor
  • Meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
  • Work overtime as required
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
