Exterior Finisher and Decorator

We are looking for a skilled Exterior Finisher and Decorator to join our team at ARCOT STREET CONSTRUCTION CORP. This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and less than 1 year of experience in the trade.

Key responsibilities include preparing surfaces for painting, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired colour and texture, measuring and applying wallpaper and other materials to walls, advising clients on colours and choice of wall coverings, erecting scaffolding, and estimating costs and materials.

• Candidates must be proficient in English, with a strong understanding of colour theory and design principles.
• Able to work independently, managing projects from start to finish while maintaining high quality standards.

This role involves frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A valid first aid certification would be an asset.

The successful candidate will be required to provide their own personal protective equipment and tools, as well as maintain a clean and safe work environment.

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 - $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
