Key Responsibilities- Diesel Engine Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines, including installation and alignment of engines and machinery, engine control systems, lubrication systems, and cooling systems.
- Heavy Truck Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy trucks, including cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work.
- Troubleshooting and Inspection: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
- Testing and Quality Control: Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks.
- Education and Certifications: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification, Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Experience and Skills: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
